Considering the risks

November 2025 -

Well, We hit a bit of a slow spot due to an unforseen accident. October started off with a trip to Alberta with plans to accomplish some errands, as well as enjoy some time away by meeting up with friends to ride some trails while we were by the mountains. Overall we had a great trip, got a lot done and enjoyed some amazing views and good times with friends in the trails- However, in just a few quick seconds Cole went from riding a honda atv through the ruts, to the atv rolling over him through the ruts. Our couple days away turned into an unplanned hospital visit, a contused kidney, some exceptional pain and a pretty banged up Cole. Sounds unfortunate, and it was- But ironically, it made us feel pretty lucky.

These things can often end worse, and its a blessing it didnt this time. This was a good reminder about risks, and whats at stake on any given day. Risk assesment doesnt seem to get talked about a lot, But its such a vital part of what we do in our work everyday. We spend a lot of time around our shop, noticing and minimizing potential risks. Not just the obvious risks towards our personel and property, but also assessing our repairs. Is this part im installing of good build and quality? If parts are delayed will this negatively impact my timelines and workflow? Are we missing something that might effect the chance of our repair being successful long term? And so on. We know the risks to asses around the shop, But when we leave our element and go somewhere less travelled, We need to stay alert.

Its important to have your vehicle serviced somewhere that has the experience and the ability to notice and follow up on the small details and risks like this, And although the injury slowed us- Were a resilient bunch and a little soreness never slowed us down much. We had a lighter few bookings and some clients who took advantage of our charging system service discount promotion. We were also able to fit in some command starts and are hoping to offer a promotion for them as the temperatures continue to drop. Cole made a solid recovery over a couple weeks and got back into some bigger jobs to end October, including another Lb7 Duramax complete injector service, as well as some timing sets! Our LB7 injector service leaves no corners cut with new lines, cups, OE injectors, and of course a valve adjustment while were in there. We enjoy servicing these engines and we provide this service at an exceptional value so if you have a truck thats hazing or hiccuping, be sure to get an estimate from us!

We've certainly been keeping busy, And November has got us back to a normal pace seeing quite a steady workflow. We're hoping sometime later this month we can find some time to start preparing a bit of a push into social media and such to get more eyes on the business. We hoped to do this in the summer, However we've kept so busy its hard to see the need- as we dont want to be so busy we have to turn clients away or give crazy lead times. However as things have set up, weve been able to refine our system a lot lately. Bringing higher efficiency and allowing a greater workload, this is something we look to continue improving on indefinitely and lately it has held a level we feel is quite acceptable for growth.

We were looking forward to seeing what new developments came out at SEMA this year, and the one we are most excited for is certainly the new MPVI4 tuning interface. With updated processing and capabilities, We really look forward to putting ours to use on an exciting project next spring. We look forward to getting into some fun and interesting projects and will be putting out coverage to follow along with!

With December and end of the year approaching, We hope the weather stays nice and we hope you all stay safe! Enjoy time with family and friends as the year winds down, keep an eye out here for more upcoming promotions and if the cold ends up trying to get the best of your vehicle- Just give us a call! We look forward to servicing you through the end of year and holiday season!

Paving our Way

August 2025 -

Taking the steps to superior service.

We've continued on at least just as busy since last update, And are pleased to share some major progressions!
Picking up where we left off, We made plenty of progress on developing refined policies that will aid in clear communications and help streamline our abilities to deliver a high standard of quality consistently. We've also closely assessed our space and determined our first equipment purchase- a two post vehicle lift. We're very excited to recieve and implement our new lift.

The two post lift is extremely versatile, Though it is not necessary for a far majority of repairs it will help significantly with facilitating quick vehicle inspections- an important cornerstone of our business. Allowing us to check all four corners of the suspension far more efficiently. Having this two post lift will also allows us to perform subframe removals on vehicles with a transaxle configuration, which is often the ideal way to replace powertrain componenents on these vehicles. We can also facilitate removal of the cab to service powertrain components on truck chassis' as necessary.

Although we may prefer changing transmissions on most trucks on the floor, We do have a transmission jack that will be usable with this lift aswell. This will also allow us to facilitate high quality four wheel alignments in the near future, and is one of the big things we are working towards next!

We're also extremely excited to announce we have obtained dealer accounts with some of the best suppliers in Canada! We're super excited to be working alongside with these exceptional companies. This means we are now offering the same great quality parts we've always loved using, But now with some aggressive discounts and added warranty perks passed along on all kinds of parts, Including a vast catalogue of Diesel truck parts that might surprise you!

We have been really enjoying servicing our customers so far, and have been turning out some interesting jobs already! From some brake and suspension components, to more intensive engine and turbocharger replacements and even a couple of emission tunes for Diesel trucks- Its been off to a busy start! Things have been smooth and we've already identified and implemented a few small things that will greatly benefit our efficiency around our space. We initially planned to begin an advertising push once we have our lift installed, However we've been surprised how full the shop has been so far even without and this has us very excited.

New Spaces

June 2025 -

A new set of keys marks the start of a new adventure.

After many months of property watching, viewings, applications- We sucessfully made the deal and obtained our new shop space and we couldnt be happier with the results. We obtained a 1400Sq/ft shop space, Previously used as a welding shop. A wide open, Tall ceiling shop with an office, as well as a spacious secure compound. Despite needing some work- This location was perfect for our startup and we were thrilled to get our keys!

The old welding shop left plenty of work ahead for us- To say the least, weekly clean-ups did not seem to be part of the previous tenants schedule. We plan on spending lots of time here, and we want to make sure the space is warm, inviting, and well upkept. So onto the cleanup we got! Dusting, Degreasing, Sweeping, Mopping, and giving a fresh white paint on the walls! It was dozens of hours of hard work, But such a great investment to see our space come around improved. We even found a nice red concrete floor we werent expecting under all the dust!

Our great friend of the shop- Jeromy took some time off from his busy Aviation Maintenance schedule to come down from Calgary, Alberta just to help us with the heavy lifting on our move! We managed to get all our tools, equipment, and compressors placed in the new shop. This sure went smooth with Jeromy, And we made sure to show our appreciation by fitting a new Borla    S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust to his 2025 Ford F-150 5.0 and.. Wow! What a satisfying improvement both audiably AND visually on the Black Appearance Package White F-150. We cant wait to install more warranty-compliant exhaust systems like this for our customers in the near future! Finished the job off by completing this F-150's FIRST oil change! Shes that fresh. Having friends like Jeromy is a real blessing, We took on a big task with this shop and we couldnt do it all without the help of our friends. We also went and did some fishing while we had him in Sask, Huge success!

With a new space all cleaned up, The next steps will revolve around planning- From setting up our business policies, to measuring our space out and determining the most efficient placement of equipment. The list goes on, We have a lot to do- and it sure is hard to be patient when were so excited. However, The patience here is crucial and will pay off when we open, Ready to run like a well-oiled machine. We intend on thinking ahead, and working out all the flaws in our systems before its put into real-world use. This is the foresight that will save pain for ourselves and clients!
